En RDT Engineers buscamos incorporar varios/as Draughtsmen or 2D Mechanical Designers specialised in Siemens NX to take part in the development of aeronautical manufacturing drawings , within projects for structure, fuselage, wings, cabin and aircraft components . 𝐄𝐧𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐞𝐚𝐦 𝐥𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: Zamudio (Biscay), but if you are unable to work on-site, 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤 𝟏𝟎𝟎% 𝐑𝐄𝐌𝐎𝐓𝐄𝐋𝐘 The position allows you to work 100% remotely from any location in Spain. We are looking for professionals with prior and specific experience in aeronautical or aerospace design . Experience in the design and/or definition of aircraft elements is essential, such as fuselage, wings, cabin, structures, attachments or aeronautical components . The selected person will work from existing 3D models to generate high-level 2D technical documentation , complying with aeronautical regulations and quality standards. Main responsibilities 3D modelling and preparation: Management of models in Siemens NX , version control, history clean-up and alignment with aircraft coordinate systems ( FS, BL, WL ). Detail design (Drafting): Creation of 2D drawings in NX Drafting , including complex drawings, sections, details of critical areas and management of scaled views. Technical definition (GD&T): Application of geometric and dimensional tolerances ( ASME Y14.5 / ISO 1101 ), definition of functional datums and precision fits. Aeronautical design: Participation in the definition and documentation of elements of fuselage, wings, cabin, structures, attachments and other aeronautical components . Fuselage specialisation: Generation of sheet metal developments ( flat patterns ), bend tables, calculation of pitch of rivets and specification of fasteners (NAS/MS). Documentation and PLM: Preparation of BOM , drilling tables, specifications for surface treatments and lifecycle management in PLM ( ECN/ECR ). Quality checks: Review of drawing rules, checking of over/under-dimensioning and chain closures. Verification that all dimensions originate from the model. Deliverable generation: Preparation and review of the technical documentation required for manufacturing. Requirements and knowledge Essential experience in aeronautical or aerospace design , especially in the design of structures, fuselage, wings, cabin, attachments or aircraft components . Siemens NX: Advanced mastery of NX Modelling and NX Drafting . PLM/CM: Experience with PLM systems, with particular value placed on Teamcenter . Normativa: Solid knowledge of GD&T and aeronautical drawing standards. Technical experience: Valued experience in aeronautical metal structures, machining and sheet metal forming. Competencies: Attention to detail, spatial vision and a focus on quality and manufacturability ( DFM ). Inglés: Advanced level. What we offer 🏠 100% TELEWORKING from any location in Spain.
