Senior MS SQL Server Database Administrator

Description: Seeking an experienced Senior MS SQL Server Database Administrator (DBA) for the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) IT Division Tolling group. Focus on SQL Server database administration, cloud technologies, performance optimization, high availability, and operational support. Requirements: 2+ years of experience managing and administering Microsoft SQL Server databases. 1+ year of experience with SQL Server performance tuning, Transact-SQL (T-SQL), and cloud platforms like Microsoft Azure. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience. Must reside in the U.S. and complete a fingerprint-based background check.
