At SMG, our strength lies in our people. Here are two team members you’d work with: Zsolt Kovacs — LinkedIn Jérôme Hascoet — LinkedIn Job Description What you’ll do 🛠️ Own features end to end: work with Product and Design to shape solutions, build across mobile and backend, and follow through after release. Build for both mobile platforms: contribute to our iOS and Android apps, creating experiences that feel right on each platform. Develop our shared Kotlin Multiplatform layer: share logic where it brings value and make thoughtful decisions about what belongs in shared or platform-specific code. Contribute to our backend: build and evolve the APIs and services your features need. Qualifications What you bring 📱 Must-haves: 3+ years building products and shopping code to production Strong production mobile experience: you’ve built and shipped substantial features on iOS or Android, with deep expertise in at least one platform. Willingness to work across the full scope: you want to contribute to iOS, Android, shared Kotlin Multiplatform code, and backend services as a regular part of your role. Experience beyond your primary platform: you’ve made meaningful contributions to another mobile platform, shared mobile code, or backend services. Solid backend and API sense: you can build the endpoints your app needs, not just consume them. Ownership and initiative: you can unblock yourself by clarifying an ambiguous problem, proposing a solution, and carrying it through to production. Good English: our team is international and English is our working language. Nice-to haves: Experience building backend services, especially in Go or Java. Experience shipping a mobile app, having contributed to both iOS and Android. Experience working with Kotlin Multiplatform. Experience designing APIs and monitoring or troubleshooting features in production. You’ll thrive here if… ✅ You think about the complete user journey and the systems behind it. You enjoy developing expertise while learning from colleagues in other areas. You can weigh code sharing against platform-specific needs. You care about shipping useful features, maintaining code quality, and learning from what happens after release.
