Data Scientist

Description: Join a small, senior data team to own machine learning and product-facing data at Clerk. Build ML infrastructure, turn internal data into products, and collaborate across teams to ship models and signals. Requirements: Staff-level Data Scientist or ML Engineer with experience in building and running ML systems in production. Located within ±3 hours of U.S. Mountain Time. Ability to own large, ambiguous problems and work iteratively. Technical fluency in data, ML, and infrastructure, familiar with GCP/BQ, dbt, Dagster, ClickHouse, PostHog, and Hex.
