Lead Application Engineer (Java)

Description: Lead and mentor a team of application engineers, providing technical guidance and support for complex engineering challenges. Design, develop, and maintain production-ready applications and microservices using Java, Spring Boot, and RESTful APIs. Apply knowledge of microservices and cloud-native engineering principles to build scalable applications. Lead application migration to Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE). Guide application deployment and troubleshooting in Kubernetes environments. Develop and implement testing strategies to ensure application quality. Collaborate with various teams to establish engineering standards and best practices. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field. Strong experience in Java, Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, and cloud-native architectures. Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and application testing. Experience with application modernization and cloud deployments. Strong understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases. Demonstrated technical leadership and mentoring skills.
