Full Stack Engineer, Product Platform

Description: Nametag is seeking a Full Stack Engineer to build and maintain the platform foundations for identity verification and account protection. The role involves owning the data model, Postgres layer, public APIs, and multi-region architecture to ensure compliance and data governance. Requirements: 5+ years of experience in building and operating production backend systems. Deep PostgreSQL experience, including schema design and live system migrations. Strong backend skills in Go, Node.js, Python, Java, or similar, with frontend ability in React or comparable frameworks. Experience designing and maintaining customer-facing APIs with versioning and compatibility considerations. Hands-on cloud experience, preferably with AWS. Experience handling sensitive data with strict access control and retention requirements. Good judgment regarding system correctness and failure handling. Clear communication skills in a remote, cross-functional team environment. Benefits: Competitive salary ranging from $120,000 to $190,000 based on experience.
