Software Engineer – AWS

Description: Join LocalStack as a Software Engineer on the AWS Emulator team to enhance and solidify the AWS emulator. Take ownership of individual services, ensuring they closely mimic real AWS behavior, including edge cases and undocumented details. Requirements: Mid-level/senior software engineering experience with strong fundamentals. Proficient in at least one programming language (Python preferred). Experience working from documentation and APIs to understand system behavior. Strong testing mindset and hands-on experience with AI coding tools. Experience building and operating applications on cloud providers, preferably AWS. Fast learner with strong problem-solving skills and a product-focused mindset. Nice to have: open-source contributions, AWS expertise, experience with Infrastructure as Code, Kubernetes, and microservices. Benefits: Fully remote work environment.
