Security Engineer

Description: Kodex is seeking a Security Engineer to manage the security program as the company scales. The role involves overseeing CorpSec, SecOps, and compliance, with a focus on CloudSec and AppSec. Requirements: 4–6 years of security engineering experience, preferably in a startup or small company. Experience in a Mac-first environment, including fleet security and Apple-native tooling. Depth in CorpSec and SecOps, including detection engineering and incident response. Experience with SOC 2 audits, having owned or heavily contributed to the process. Familiarity with tools such as Datadog, SentinelOne, Okta, Google Workspace, and Vanta. Strong communication skills for writing playbooks and explaining concepts to non-security stakeholders.
