Contract Staff Software Engineer - Performance Graphics (C++,Rust, WebGL)

Description: Maintain and engineer Firefox’s Graphics area, focusing on rendering, compositing, images, canvas, and WebGL. Ensure the graphics code remains healthy through ongoing maintenance and support. Requirements: Strong proficiency in C++ and/or Rust. Knowledge of graphics frameworks and GPU architecture. Strong debugging and optimization skills in a multithreaded codebase. Ability to work independently and lead technically in a large, mature codebase. Benefits: Competitive salary range: $145,800 - $186,172 CAD for Tier 1 locations; $131,400 - $154,600 CAD for Tier 2 locations.
