Founding Engineer - Software

Description: Build software that automates design and engineering workflows for data centers and industrial megaprojects. Develop a coherent platform integrating various engineering disciplines (civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, architectural). Create parametric models, computational geometry systems, and automated engineering workflows. Collaborate with engineers to translate physical constraints into reliable software. Continuously ship production software while working directly with domain engineers and customers. Requirements: Exceptional software engineer with experience in building and shipping products end-to-end. Deep understanding of systems, data structures, algorithms, and software architecture. Proficient in working across the stack, from backend systems to user-facing products. Familiarity with AI coding agents to enhance productivity. Curiosity to learn engineering fundamentals and physical constraints. Ability to take full ownership of problems without waiting for detailed specifications. Benefits: Competitive salary range of US$200k–$300k or CA$285k–CA$430k base plus founding-team equity. Fully compensated health plans with 100% dependent coverage.
