Part time Sr. Software Engineer

Description: Part-time Senior Full Stack Engineer position (20–30 hours/week) at GeoVisual Analytics. Focus on AI implementation and modernization for the fresh produce supply chain. Contract duration: 3–6 months, with potential for extension. Compensation: $85/hour, fully remote with flexible hours. Requirements: 5+ years of professional software engineering experience (frontend and backend). Proficient in TypeScript and Node.js, with production experience in backend services (NestJS or similar). Strong knowledge of React or similar modern frontend frameworks (Next.js preferred). Experience with Python and FastAPI or comparable async frameworks. Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL data stores. Experience deploying production services on platforms like Vercel, Fly.io, or major cloud providers. Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and Docker.
