Machine Learning Engineer

Description: Higharc is a VC-backed startup focused on transforming home design and construction. Seeking a hands-on Machine Learning Engineer to build and ship ML models related to home design. Responsibilities include owning problems end-to-end, from research to deployment, ensuring models meet latency and cost requirements. Requirements: 5+ years of professional software development, with 2+ years in training and shipping ML models. Experience in end-to-end model development, including data preparation, training, evaluation, and serving. Proficient in Python; experience with PyTorch preferred. Familiarity with geometric or structured data (e.g., floor plans, CAD). Experience with evaluation harnesses and API development (FastAPI or similar). Comfortable working remotely on US Eastern hours. Master's degree in computer science, machine learning, or related field, or equivalent experience.
