Sr. Product Manager

BlackCloak’s mission is to protect corporate executives and high-profile individuals in their personal lives, mitigating risks to their families, companies, reputation, and finances. We defend our clients’ digital lives from hackers, privacy leaks, and identity theft. If you are passionate about helping to protect others, then keep reading – this may be your next great opportunity. As a Sr. Product Manager, you will turn product direction into shipped features across our platform, from mobile and desktop to cloud. We follow spec-driven development (SDD): Product writes the PRD, and the downstream design and Jira stories are generated from it, so this role doesn’t involve grooming backlogs or writing stories by hand. You will take a defined task list, execute it using the patterns and processes we already have, prototype new ideas, and use AI throughout your work. This role reports to the Director of Product. What you will do Write PRDs with requirements precise enough that the downstream design and generated stories come out right the first time. Build working prototypes of new ideas so the team can test them before committing to full development. AI native across their work from research to delivery to day to day management. Work closely with platform, mobile, and security engineering, plus Customer Success and Design, so new features fit into our existing products. Flag progress, roadblocks, and risks early to the people who need to know. What you need to be successful 5+ years of technical product management experience, with a track record of shipping products across mobile, desktop, and cloud. Hands-on experience building applications and turning new ideas into working prototypes. A background in software engineering is a significant advantage. Clear technical writing, and the ability to explain technical concepts to both engineers and business stakeholders. Proficiency in Jira, Confluence, Figma, and Pendo, plus AI tools including Gemini, Claude, Claude Code, and ChatGPT. A combination of strong technical skills and business savvy enough to interface with all levels and disciplines within the BlackCloak organization – from engineering to senior leadership Have a clear understanding of UX design principles and experience working with customers and stakeholders as part of a design process. Ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks with minimal supervision, a sense of intellectual curiosity, humility, and accountability. The ability to understand problems from the customer’s point of view, internal or external, and the judgment to make the calls that maximize the value delivered. How you will work with others We hire for our values. In this role, they look like this: Respect all with humility and patience: bring engineering along by explaining the why behind each requirement, listening to their feedback on the spec, and changing course when they’re right. Empathize with others and invest in their success: learn the pain points of everyone who uses our products, from members and their families to our internal users, and build to solve them. Innovate with speed, passion, and curiosity: ask questions, test ideas quickly with prototypes, and follow the evidence. Act as an owner, doer, and as one team: own your work end to end, and step in wherever the team needs help. Delight beyond expectations: present to leadership with a clear recommendation, the evidence behind it, and the trade-offs. Deliver work that is ready to use. $120,000 – $140,000 a year Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors, including but not limited to geographic location as well as candidate experience and expertise, and may vary from the amounts listed above.
