Security Engineer, Application Security

Description: Own the security of software including cloud services, APIs, and applications in distributed systems. Lead threat modeling, secure design reviews, and vulnerability remediation in collaboration with engineering teams. Requirements: 5–8 years in application security or software engineering with a security focus. Proficient in modern programming languages (e.g., Python, Go, Java) and application security tooling (SAST, DAST, etc.). Strong understanding of OWASP Top 10, secure coding practices, and experience with microservices and cloud environments. Excellent communication skills and ability to influence technical and non-technical audiences. Must be a U.S. citizen with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Cybersecurity.
