Senior Software Engineer (Performance)

Description: TrueML is a mission-driven financial software company focused on improving customer experiences for distressed borrowers using machine learning. The Legacy Performance Improvement team maintains and modernizes critical legacy systems that support high-revenue projects. Requirements: 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with production software. Experience with software architecture and legacy codebases, strong programming fundamentals, and familiarity with Scala and/or Python. Ability to build services or APIs, strong communication skills, and confidence in high-visibility projects. Nice to have: experience in legacy system modernization, cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP), containers, and CI/CD pipelines. Benefits: Unlimited PTO.
