Influencer Manager - BD focus

Location: United States At Sweatcoin , we're on a mission to make the world more active - healthier and wealthier along the way. As the leading app that turns steps into rewards, we've inspired 200M+ downloads and helped users walk over 23 trillion steps. Influencer-driven growth is one of our most powerful acquisition channels - and we're just getting started. We're looking for someone to build, scale, and own it. This is primarily a Business Development role - not a brand management one. You'll be designing systems, sourcing new channels, and driving the kind of growth that compounds. Your goal is clear: double the number of users we acquire through influencers within 6 months. You'll lead a team of junior entrepreneurs across diverse markets, bringing structure and strategy to their work while pioneering entirely new approaches to influencer acquisition - from AI-driven solutions to vertical-specific campaigns to affiliate innovation. If you're a builder who gets energy from creating something from scratch, thrives without a playbook, and wants your earnings to reflect your results - this is your role! What you'll do: Strategic Development (60%) Design and execute monthly influencer acquisition campaigns targeting specific verticals (health & fitness, gaming, lifestyle, finance, and more) Build professional influencer sourcing processes beyond the Sweatcoin app, leveraging external platforms, direct outreach, and your own creative approaches Explore and test new acquisition channels: AI-driven solutions, third-party affiliate programs, virtual influencers Develop compelling lead magnets and communication strategies to attract high-quality influencers at scale Analyze market opportunities and build data-driven business cases for new initiatives Team Leadership & Operations (40%) Coordinate and focus the junior entrepreneur team across markets, standardizing processes and best practices Establish clear workflows, tracking systems, and performance metrics Drive continuous improvement and knowledge sharing across geographies What you'll bring: Proven track record of 2X+ growth in an influencer, affiliate, or partnership program with the numbers and methodology to prove it A builder mindset : you've created something original, not just operated existing platforms Background in consumer mobile apps or web products (startup environment strongly preferred) Strong project management and organizational skills Strategic marketing thinking: you approach an influencer program the way a product marketer approaches a launch Data-driven and creative in equal measure Comfort with variable compensation tied directly to outcomes Why Sweatcoin : A mission that genuinely matters: getting millions of people moving every single day Full ownership of a high-impact acquisition channel with direct influence on company growth Remote-first culture with flexibility and trust at its core Direct collaboration with leadership in a fast-moving, founder-minded environment Room to experiment, build, and leave your mark Originally posted on Himalayas
