Staff Software Engineer

Description: Beacon Biosignals is transforming precision medicine for brain disorders through an at-home EEG platform and comprehensive diagnostics. The Staff Software Engineer will join the Datastore team, focusing on backend systems for data infrastructure, including PostgreSQL, Kafka, and GraphQL API. Requirements: 7+ years of backend development experience, with 3+ years in data platforms and backend infrastructure. Proficient in SQL and PostgreSQL, with experience in data streaming and event processing (Kafka or equivalent). Familiarity with containerized environments (Kubernetes, IaC tools like Terraform). Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset. Experience mentoring engineers and improving team practices.
