Platform Engineer

Description: Build and improve the platform that powers Resend, providing reliable infrastructure and tooling for engineers. Design and operate scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS, focusing on reliability, performance, and security. Automate operational work and create self-service workflows for infrastructure tasks. Establish platform standards for consistent service deployment and operation. Improve reliability and observability, participating in incident response and operational improvements. Collaborate with engineers to solve infrastructure problems and build reusable solutions. Requirements: 8+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering, platform, or SRE. Strong experience managing production infrastructure as code (AWS CDK, Terraform, Pulumi). Understanding of distributed systems and cloud infrastructure (queues, workers, databases, etc.). Solid working knowledge of AWS. Experience with observability and monitoring tools (Datadog, Grafana, OpenTelemetry). Comfortable working across the stack, from networking to delivery pipelines.
