Cloud Network Engineer
About this role
Description: Design, build, and manage cloud networks (VPCs/VNets, subnets, routing, peering) across GCP, Azure, and AWS. Set up and maintain secure connections between cloud environments, data centers, and offices using VPN, Cloud Interconnect, ExpressRoute, or Direct Connect. Manage cloud load balancers, DNS, NAT, and network gateways for production services. Configure and maintain firewalls, security groups, and network policies. Support networking for Kubernetes platform and build/manage network infrastructure as code with Terraform. Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and participate in on-call rotation. Document network designs and plan for capacity, high availability, and disaster recovery. Requirements: 6–8 years in network engineering, with 2–3 years in cloud networking. Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud (GCP, Azure, AWS); multiple clouds are a plus. Strong networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, subnetting, routing (BGP, OSPF), DNS, DHCP, NAT, VPN, and load balancing. Experience with hybrid connectivity and firewalls (Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco). Proficient in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell). Strong troubleshooting skills using tools like Wireshark and traceroute. Benefits: Competitive Salary.
