Candidates must reside in one of the following locations for consideration. Please note: Duncan Solutions, LLC, does not provide visa sponsorship now or in the future. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship requirements. ## Pay Transparancy This role will offer $85,000 - $100,000 annually, depending on experience, skills, and location. ## Working Hours Monday–Friday schedule aligned to business hours, with participation in after-hours, weekends, or on-call support rotations as needed. ## Position Summary The IT Solutions Analyst – Cybersecurity is responsible for supporting the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of security operations and engineering capabilities across the organization. This role serves as a technical contributor and analytical resource within the Cyber Team, supporting security monitoring, incident response, vulnerability management, and the engineering of security controls and tooling. The Analyst works closely with the CISO and Cyber Team to identify security gaps, operationalize threat intelligence, and ensure that security solutions align with organizational risk tolerance, compliance requirements, and operational standards. ## Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Triage and respond to Tier 1 & Tier 2 security incidents and alerts, including initial investigation, containment actions, and escalation in accordance with the incident response process
- Monitor security event queues, analyze alerts from SIEM and other security tooling, and document findings and resolutions to support shared knowledge and continuous improvement within the Cyber Team
- Analyze existing security systems, architectures, and data flows to identify vulnerabilities, coverage gaps, or improve detection, response, or operational efficiency
- Translate business requirements into documentation, detailed functional specifications, process flows, and user stories
- Assist in developing, executing, and supporting security validation and testing activities
- Analyze trends in security events, alerts, and incidents to identify emerging threat patterns, detection gaps, or operational improvement opportunities
- Document system behavior, requirements, test results, and process changes
- Assist with security incident investigation, root-cause analysis, and post-incident review to drive improvements in detection and response capabilities
- Ensure security operations and engineering activities align with applicable compliance requirements, security frameworks (NIST 800-53, PCI-DSS) and internal policies and standards What You’ll Need to Succeed
