We are looking for a Product Marketing Manager to define how Matomo is positioned, understood and brought to market as we strengthen our go-to-market motion and expand our reach with larger organisations. You will connect customer and market insight with Product, Marketing and Sales, sharpening our positioning and Ideal Customer Profiles (ICPs), turning product capabilities into compelling customer value, and ensuring teams have the messaging, launches and enablement they need to drive adoption and revenue. This is an opportunity to take real ownership of product marketing at Matomo, shape how we compete in a rapidly evolving analytics market and make our value clear to customers around the world. As we grow, we need to become equally strong at explaining why Matomo matters, who it matters most to and why organisations should choose us over the alternatives. Product Marketing sits at the centre of that challenge. You will bring together customer insight, market intelligence, product strategy and commercial priorities to create a clear and differentiated story, and make sure that story translates into successful launches, stronger sales conversations and greater product adoption. Your work will directly influence:
- Market positioning and differentiation: making Matomo's value clear and compelling in a competitive analytics market
- Revenue and sales effectiveness: helping Sales engage the right customers with stronger narratives, evidence and enablement
- Product adoption and growth: ensuring customers understand the value of new and existing capabilities and are motivated to use them What you will own
- Positioning and messaging: Define and continuously strengthen Matomo's positioning, messaging and value propositions, translating technical capabilities into clear customer and business value.
- Customer and market insight: Build a systematic understanding of our customers, buyers and markets using customer research, sales conversations, support feedback, product usage and market intelligence. Turn those insights into stronger ICPs and personas, messaging, go-to-market decisions and actionable input for Product.
- Go-to-market strategy: Own product marketing strategy and planning for key product and feature launches, partnering with Product, Sales and Marketing from early positioning through launch and adoption.
- Prioritisation and commercial judgement: Make informed trade-offs across product launches, sales opportunities, customer needs and strategic marketing priorities, focusing product marketing effort where it can create the greatest customer and business impact.
- Sales enablement: Give Sales the narratives, competitive intelligence and tools they need to sell effectively across acquisition, expansion and renewal, including pitch materials, battlecards, persona guidance and value/ROI frameworks.
