Cloud Engineer

Description: Design, deploy, secure, and optimize cloud infrastructure and applications primarily within AWS. Engineer cloud solutions for new and migrated applications, ensuring alignment with the AWS Well-Architected Framework. Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, manage golden AMIs, and enhance cloud security controls. Partner with technology teams for cloud transformation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) adoption. Ensure governance, controls, auditing, and compliance in cloud environments. Identify operational risks and opportunities for improvement to maintain fault-tolerant systems. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, Engineering, Business, or related discipline. 5+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure, IT systems administration, or related fields. 3+ years of experience writing production-grade code and automating infrastructure with Terraform. 3+ years of experience designing secure AWS cloud solutions in a multi-account environment. Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell; hands-on experience with AWS services. Knowledge of AWS networking and security services, cloud security, compliance, and operational best practices. Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, Git, and GitHub.
