Fully Remote (UK based) | Competitive Salary + Bonus + Generous Equity | B Corp Certified TrustedHousesitters is a fast growing, direct-to-consumer marketplace that is redefining pet care and travel. Here at TrustedHousesitters, we’re on a mission to make travel work better for pets, for their people, and for the global community of animal lovers who look after them. We’ve got big plans on becoming the world’s most-loved travel solution for pet people. We’ve built something pretty special: a trusted place where pet owners and sitters connect to keep pets happy at home while their humans explore the world. We’ve already grown into a global community with members in over 140 countries, a product people genuinely love, and a team of more than 100 brilliant humans powering it all. But we’re only just getting started. Our goal? To grow to 1 million members and make TrustedHousesitters the world’s most-loved travel solution for pet people. At the moment, a sit starts every two minutes somewhere on the planet. We want that to be every single minute and we know the only way we’ll get there is with the right people in the right roles. The right people in the right roles will shape our future. So, here’s the big question: Could that be you? The Role The title says “marketing designer”. The job is much bigger than that. You’ll help decide how our brand evolves as we move into bigger markets with bigger ideas. You will be seen as a leader within the TrustedHousesitters creative studio and bring innovative, creative ideas to the table. Our tone is bold, cheeky and a little rebellious, and we want someone who can push that further while keeping the trust our members rely on. This is a hands-on senior role. You’ll take work nose to tail, from the first idea to delivering every piece of artwork, with performance data showing how you’re doing. What you’ll do • Take always-on paid social, our biggest acquisition lever, from concept to delivery. That means ads that are funny, bold and different and still hit conversion and engagement benchmarks. • Lead creative ideas on your own, pulling together small groups (usually you and a copywriter) and bringing strong, goal-focused concepts back to the senior team • Bring the brand to life through motion, animation and video, and take the lead on motion across the studio. • Help to support on larger brand activation briefs such as photography, motion shoots and events. • Support the Marketing Design Lead on major brand campaign moments, and help develop and evolve our brand look and feel. • Design campaign visuals and digital content across paid, organic and owned channels (social, video, landing pages, UGC) • Prototype quickly and iterate with modern workflows, including gen AI tools, and lead the studio on tooling. • Optimise creative using performance data and leveraging the insights to creatively advertise to our ICPs. • Raise the bar on craft through thoughtful peer feedback and light-touch mentoring of more junior studio members. What you’ll need • Nose-to-tail creative ownership: a track record of turning ideas into finished, multi-format artwork, at pace and on a regular basis • Motion and video craft: strong After Effects and Premiere Pro (or equivalent), and a portfolio that shows real motion work, not just static design with a bit of animation • Performance creative: hands-on experience designing for paid social and digital ad formats (Meta, TikTok, YouTube, GDN), including vertical, short-form and UGC-style content, and using data to improve results • Idea generation: confident developing campaign ideas, not just executing someone else’s and being proactive into bringing your own ideas to the senior leadership teams. • Range and brand judgement: able to flex into a cheeky, irreverent tone while keeping brand consistency across evolving formats • A scale-up mindset: happy to switch from an SLT-level brand moment to a quick asset request in the same week, with no egos and plenty of pace • Tools: Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and gen AI tools used in your actual workflow Nice to have • On-set or shoot experience (briefing, art direction, working with talent, and bonus points for animals) • Experience with digital products, online memberships or trust-based marketplaces • Experience at a brand scaling into the US or other international markets • A pet, travel or digital product background You’ll feel like a fish out of water if: We know this isn’t what you’d see in most job ads, but TrustedHousesitters isn’t most companies. Trust, transparency and honest feedback aren’t just things we say; they’re genuinely how we operate, every day. So rather than leaving you guessing if things don’t work out, we’d rather give you what you need to make a great decision upfront about whether this opportunity is right for you. With that in mind, here are a few things worth considering before you hit apply: • You see seniority as a step away from the smaller stuff. Here, everyone gets stuck in, whatever the size of the brief. • You’d rather hand motion off to someone else. Motion is a big part of this role, and we need you to own it. • You need a fully formed brief before you start. You’ll help shape the idea as much as deliver it. • Your work is mostly judged on how it looks. Ours is also judged on how it performs, and we iterate based on the data. • Premium and polished is your comfort zone, and cheeky feels off-brand to you. Our voice is bold, playful and a little rebellious. • You’d rather stay behind the screen than get involved in shoots and content production. Our hiring process • Intro video call with our Talent team • Portfolio review with the Creative Studio • A short, hypothetical creative task, followed by a conversation about your thinking Compensation Additional Information In addition to a competitive salary and bonus, we offer a range of benefits, including: 🐾 For the love of pets • Each year, you’ll get a Premium TrustedHousesitters Combined membership which includes benefits like free airport lounge passes, Sit Cancellation Plan and Home and Contents Plan, plus five Premium memberships to gift to friends and family • Our team can work remotely from as many house sits as they like, and we contribute up to £500 per year towards travel costs to and from sits • Find a rescue pet to join your family and we’ll cover the adoption fees, as well as “pawternity” to help your pet settle into their new home 💜 Health & wellbeing • SimplyHealth healthcare cash plan • Bupa Health Insurance and Dental Insurance plan • Specsavers eyecare scheme • Weekly virtual yoga sessions • Optional enrollment onto our Trusted Giving scheme, which includes employee giving via Charities Trust and 2 days paid annual volunteering allowance 💻 Working environment • Work fully remotely from anywhere in the world – as long as you follow compliance as a UK tax resident • Get £200 to spend on home office equipment each year + Macbook and Apple accessories when you start • Access to Spaces co-working locations across the globe • We host an all-expenses-paid meetup each quarter and fund team events (remote or in-person) throughout the year • We cover the costs of personal development resources and have regular time set aside for learning and growth • Depending on your role within the business, you’ll have the option to customise your work hours to better align with your personal schedule 💰 Compensation & time off • 25 days off per year, plus bank holidays and festive closure between Christmas and New Year (36 days + Christmas Day for some roles) • Competitive salary which is reviewed annually • Generous equity package for permanent employees • Discretionary 10% quarterly bonus scheme, distributed quarterly • Pension scheme: 5% from you as an employee and 3% from TrustedHousesitters • £500 recruitment referral bonus If you’re ready to join us on our mission to become the most loved pet travel solution, we’d love to hear from you!
