Staff Application Security Engineer

Description: Engine is seeking a Staff Application Security Engineer to ensure the security and integrity of applications and software systems. Responsibilities include building a vulnerability management pipeline, executing the application security program, and collaborating with engineering teams on security best practices. Requirements: Proficiency in programming languages (e.g., Ruby, Java, Python, C#, Node.js). Expertise in managing SIEM solutions and automated container vulnerability management (Docker, Kubernetes). Mastery of SAST, DAST, and IAST tools, with manual validation testing skills. Deep knowledge of OWASP Top 10, Mitre Top 25, and secure coding practices. Strong analytical problem-solving and communication skills. Experience with cloud security concepts and compliance frameworks (SOC 2, PCI).
