Staff Backend Engineer

Work as a Staff Backend Engineer to design, build, and scale robust services, contributing to the product roadmap and seeing projects through to production. Requirements: Java Proficiency: Excellent skills in Java and significant experience in the Spring ecosystem. Database Proficiency: Commercial experience with SQL and database schema design. Ownership: Ability to work autonomously and own features end-to-end. Distributed Systems: Experience in designing microservices, including service boundaries and API contracts. Cloud and Containers: Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes in AWS or similar environments. Reliability and Performance: Skills in diagnosing production issues and improving observability. Technical Leadership: Ability to set technical direction and raise engineering standards. Soft Skills: Excellent communication in English and attention to detail. Extra Credit: Experience with Python, FastAPI, Voice AI Models, and Agentic AI workflows is a plus.
