Staff Software Engineer, Full Stack

Description: Join AlphaSense as a Staff Software Engineer (Full Stack, Frontend Heavy) to build scalable and reliable software systems. Lead technical architecture, mentor engineers, and drive engineering excellence across teams. Requirements: Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science or related discipline. Minimum 8 years of software development experience with strong proficiency in JavaScript and full-stack development. Expertise in modern web frameworks (React, TypeScript, GraphQL) and at least one backend language (Node.js, Java, Python). Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases, cloud-native development (AWS or GCP), and containerization tools (Kubernetes, Docker). Strong computer science fundamentals and experience with service reliability and incident triage. Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools and a track record of driving AI adoption within engineering teams is a plus.
