Senior Software Engineer

Description: Join the Authorization team within Platform to build and operate authorization and permissioning systems for Spotify creators. Focus on backend systems critical to Spotify's creator ecosystem, evolving them as they grow in scale and complexity. Requirements: Deep experience in designing, building, and operating backend services, with strong knowledge of Java or similar technologies. Experience with distributed, high-scale systems emphasizing reliability, performance, and security. Proficient in working with relational databases at scale, including performance optimization. Ability to reason about architecture, APIs, dependencies, and data flows. Experience in a product-driven environment, connecting technical decisions to user and business outcomes.
