Location Time spent collaborating with other Hudlies in-office will be a regular part of how you work. We’re currently prioritizing applicants within commuting distance of Lincoln, Nebraska. You’ll be expected to work more days in-office than remote, but will have the freedom to coordinate your specific in-office schedule with your team. Must-Haves Legally qualified. You’re admitted to practice law in your jurisdiction with the ability to obtain in-house registration in Nebraska within 6 months of hiring , and have at least six years of experience at a law firm or as in-house counsel. A project management mindset. You don’t just spot problems — you build scalable processes and templates that help the entire company move faster. Technically curious. You have a strong understanding of how legal principles apply to modern SaaS businesses and are comfortable using tools like Microsoft Office to manage your work. An elite communicator. You have exceptional writing skills and the ability to coach and mentor junior staff and non-attorney colleagues. Nice-to-Haves Tech industry experience. If you’ve spent time navigating the legal landscape of a high-growth technology company, that’s a major plus. Global perspective. Experience working with international teams or coordinating with local counsel across different geographic regions will set you apart. Our Role Champion work-life harmony . We’ll give you the flexibility you need in your work life (e.g., flexible vacation time, company-wide holidays and timeout (meeting-free) days, remote work options and more) so you can enjoy your personal life too. Guarantee autonomy . We have an open, honest culture and we trust our people from day one. Your team will support you, but you’ll own your work and have the agency to try new ideas.
