Senior Software Engineer, Data Platform

Description: Build and operate self-serve ETL/ELT frameworks for batch and streaming workloads. Drive the technical roadmap for the data platform, including integration patterns and standards. Collaborate with various teams to design data contracts and scale ingestion. Architect data lineage, schema registry, and access controls to ensure compliance with regulations. Monitor and resolve incidents across the data platform. Mentor junior and mid-level engineers through code and design reviews. Requirements: 5+ years of experience in building and operating data infrastructure in production. Strong system design skills with experience in writing design documents. Proficiency in Python or Java/Kotlin, with a focus on testing and code quality. Experience with cloud data warehouses (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift) and workflow orchestration tools (Airflow, Dagster, Prefect). Familiarity with streaming technologies (Kafka, Flink, Kinesis) and data modeling frameworks (dbt). Experience in regulated environments with a focus on data governance and access control.
