Senior Software Engineer - Product Expansion Team

Alternative Payments is building the financial operating system for SMBs, consolidating the disconnected tech stack that holds service-based businesses back. Starting with MSPs, we've spent five years perfecting accounts receivable, and we're now expanding into accounts payable, AI-powered analytics, and beyond. We're at an inflection point: closing the loop on money movement and laying the foundation for a platform that will reshape how service businesses operate financially. We're growing fast, thinking big, and building a global team that wants to be part of something that lasts. We believe the best solutions come from diverse perspectives, deep collaboration, and a shared obsession with customer impact. If you're energized by real problems, real customers, and real impact, we want to hear from you! What We’re Looking For We're seeking a talented Senior Software Engineer to join our mission of revolutionizing payments for service-based companies by building the robust, scalable infrastructure that powers our accounts receivable automation platform. You’ll join our Product Expansion team, which owns two of our core products: Accounts Payable, where we’re currently building multi-use virtual cards, and Analytics. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on architecting and developing core backend services, design event-driven data pipelines, and ensuring the reliability and performance of systems that process critical financial transactions for our clients. Working closely with Product and Operations teams, you'll leverage your expertise in Go (or other similar language) and distributed systems to deliver high-quality features rapidly while maintaining the transparency, dependability, and partnership values that define Alternative Payments. This is an opportunity to make a direct impact on how businesses manage their payment processes, contributing to a platform that reduces costs and complexity for companies while working alongside a global, diverse and collaborative team. This role is available to candidates who are eligible to work in Brazil, fully remote.
