Field Application Scientist

Description: Join SPT Labtech as a Field Application Scientist on a 12-month fixed-term contract for maternity cover. Provide expert-level support for liquid handling products across the UK and Europe, acting as a key interface between Sales, Marketing, and customers. Requirements: MSc with 5+ years or PhD with 2+ years in biological sciences, liquid handling, or related fields; significant practical experience in laboratory automation is also considered. Working knowledge of NGS methods; experience in HTS, assay development, molecular biology, or structural biology is a plus. Willingness to travel extensively (up to 75%) and excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills. Hands-on experience with liquid handling and laboratory automation is desirable.
