Their work spans custom AI products, agentic systems, computer vision, knowledge platforms, and the infrastructure behind them, all grounded in a consistent methodology: discover the real friction, design the right solution, deliver with precision, and transfer full ownership to the client's team. Momentous doesn't create dependency — they transfer capability. Our impact At Momentous, impact isn't a side project — it's a founding commitment. Twenty percent of our engineering capacity is permanently allocated to sustainability and social impact work, written into our structure before we had a single paying client. That's what produced WasteLens, a computer vision platform helping restaurants and hotel chains across Latin America reduce food waste in line with UN SDG 12. These projects aren't charity — they're some of our sharpest engineering work. Building for communities with tight budgets and diverse users forces a precision that makes everything else we build better. When you join Momentous, one-fifth of your time goes toward work that matters beyond the bottom line. Non-negotiable, and it always has been. Purpose of the Position Momentous is hiring a Software Engineer to own end-to-end delivery on the production AI systems we build for our clients. Engagements span custom AI products, knowledge platforms, agentic systems, computer vision, and the infrastructure that runs them. You will own the work shipped under your name, pair with senior engineers on the more complex builds, and contribute to architectural decisions on the systems you build, alongside senior engineers.
