Frontend Engineer

Description: Join Checkmate as a Front End Engineer to own the UI of shopper-facing products, including a mobile app and desktop browser extension. Collaborate with the Product Design Lead to create polished, intuitive interfaces that enhance the shopper experience. Requirements: 3-5 years of experience in production front-end development with a portfolio of consumer UI. Strong skills in TypeScript and React, with experience in mobile apps and/or browser extensions using React Native. Solid understanding of responsive layout, animation, accessibility, and front-end performance. Excellent communication skills with designers, marketers, and engineers.
