Overview 20four7VA is seeking offshore independent contractors to deliver remote services to clients worldwide, with a primary focus on developed markets such as the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, and Australia. An early-stage UK B2B consultancy is seeking an experienced research-focused VA to identify organizations where there is a credible commercial reason to explore the company’s management and workforce solutions. This is not a high-volume lead-generation role. The VA will carefully research target organizations, identify relevant public signals, locate appropriate senior decision-makers and access routes, and prepare concise, source-backed prospect briefs. The goal is quality over volume: giving the client a smaller number of well-researched, actionable opportunities rather than a large generic prospect list. The objective of each engagement is to assist the client in improving business efficiency, enhancing service delivery, or supporting operational functions through high-quality, task-specific services rendered by a qualified contractor. Scope of Services Contractors will be required to provide services that align with the following client tasks: Market & Prospect Research Research primarily organizations in England and Wales with approximately 1,000–10,000 employees . Identify companies with meaningful HR/People functions, management populations, and organizational complexity. Research signals such as growth, restructuring, transformation, management-development initiatives, workforce change, and employee-support programs. Research will focus on organizations that may have a commercially relevant reason to explore one or both of two areas: Management/team capacity: reducing avoidable loss of management and team capacity associated with issues such as unclear work, blocked progress, rework, repeated clarification, unclear ownership, or similar operational friction. Employee support: helping HR manage individual employee-support and workplace-adjustment cases consistently and structurally, including support for both employees and managers. Evaluate publicly available information to determine whether an organization may be commercially relevant. Identify appropriate senior HR, People, Operations, Transformation, and organizational-development decision-makers. For prospects that are sufficiently strong to justify outreach, identify and verify the professional/company email address of the most relevant target decision-maker(s), where reasonably obtainable, using the prospecting and contact tools provided by the client. Prospect Intelligence & Briefs Research direct, warm, or second-degree access routes to relevant decision-makers. Prepare concise prospect briefs explaining why the organization merits outreach, who the client should approach, and why those individuals are relevant . Each completed prospect brief should allow the client to quickly understand the prospect without needing to repeat the underlying research. Prospect briefs should capture: Organization fit and relevant characteristics Relevant trigger, timing, or business signal Supporting evidence and source links Appropriate decision-maker(s) and why they are relevant Verified professional/company contact information, where reasonably available Direct, warm, second-degree, or other relevant access routes A clear research hypothesis for the client to test through outreach/discovery Prioritize opportunities based on strength of fit and available evidence. Clearly distinguish factual findings from research-based inference. Ensure substantive findings and research hypotheses are traceable to identifiable source evidence rather than relying solely on AI-generated research. Each engagement is based on a defined scope of work and is governed by an independent contractor agreement. Services must be performed professionally, with adherence to any timelines, guidelines, and deliverables agreed upon in writing. Skills The Contractor must demonstrate proficiency in the following, depending on the Client’s requirements: B2B market research, prospect research, or lead-intelligence experience required. Enterprise or mid-market research experience strongly preferred. Strong LinkedIn and web-research skills required. LinkedIn Sales Navigator experience preferred. HR, organizational development, consulting, or professional-services exposure is a plus. Apollo or similar prospect-research tool experience is a plus. Experience identifying and verifying professional/company email addresses and other appropriate access routes is preferred. Lead-generation experience is beneficial, but research quality and analytical ability are more important than high-volume prospecting. IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE Excellent B2B and enterprise research skills. Analytical, curious, and evidence-driven. Strong commercial judgment and critical thinking. Excellent written English. Able to turn complex research into concise, useful summaries. Highly detail-oriented and disciplined with source validation. Comfortable researching large organizations and senior leadership structures. Able to identify relevant decision-makers and locate reliable professional contact information through appropriate research and prospecting tools.
