AI Product Engineer (Backend, Node.js)

Description: Own the backend of the Smeetz MCP server and AI chatbot, focusing on APIs, integrations, and agent logic. Spend 70% of time on backend engineering and 30% on product-related tasks, including understanding user needs and measuring success. Requirements: 5+ years of production code experience, with 3+ years in backend engineering (Node.js/TypeScript preferred). Strong backend fundamentals: API design, data modeling, authentication, and debugging under production load. Experience shipping at least one LLM-based feature to real users, including backend responsibilities. Comfortable communicating with non-technical stakeholders and fluent in English.
