AI Engineer

Description: Scale Tech, a software development agency in Vilnius, Lithuania, is seeking an experienced AI Engineer on a contract basis. The role involves designing, building, and deploying AI agents for business process automation and integrating LLMs into existing software products. Requirements: 5+ years of software engineering experience. At least 5 successfully delivered AI/LLM projects. Hands-on experience with LLM providers (OpenAI, Gemini, Anthropic) and open-source models. Experience in building agentic workflows for process automation and integrating LLMs into production software. Strong engineering fundamentals and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Benefits: Contract term of 1–4 months, full-time or part-time options available. Remote work, must be based in the EU/EEA. Competitive hourly rate of €30–40/hour, with potential for higher rates for the right candidate.
