If you are a caring innovator who believes work should be life-centered and impactful, then this is where you come in… About the Opportunity We are seeking a Senior Instructional Designer/eLearning Developer to design, develop, and deploy engaging learning solutions for key internal IT learning initiatives, including AI, Cybersecurity Awareness, Microsoft Productivity Suite, and various Workplace Apps, for a global enterprise client. This is a high-impact role requiring a savvy professional who can leverage AI tools for content creation and pivot comfortably between rapid eLearning development and live event facilitation. Location:US
Raleigh-Durham, NC or Remote in the EST/CST timezones \* If local, in-office days are Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, remote work on Monday and Friday. Contract Type: W2 Hourly Project Duration: As soon as the recruiting process closes until December 31, 2026 Project Capacity: 40 hours per week Start Date: ASAP after the interview process and background check SweetRush is a remote organization, and as such, all resources must be technically savvy, have access to a strong internet signal, be comfortable with virtual/instant messaging and conferencing tools, and generally be available during established working hours. W2 Hourly $50/hour In this role, you will bridge the gap between technology and people by raising awareness and fostering engagement with IT offerings. You will be responsible for: Learning Experience Design: Collaborating with stakeholders to co-create live learning events, eLearning courses, and on-demand resources. AI-Enhanced Development: Using AI tools (such as Copilot chat and web search) to flesh out content and generate initial outlines. Content Creation: Building interactive eLearning solutions in Articulate Rise and Storyline 360. Multimedia Production: Creating 1-2 minute instructional/marketing videos, including screen recordings, simple animations, and recording your own voiceovers. Live Event Facilitation: Working with IT Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to script, produce, and co-facilitate live learning events and workshops. Evaluation: Owning and driving the survey and measurement strategy, including L1 feedback via MS Forms and Zoom polls. What You Bring
Required Skills Experience: Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of instructional design experience. Technical Proficiency: Expert-level skills in Articulate Rise and Storyline 360. AI Savvy: Practical experience using AI agents and use cases to accelerate the content development process (Microsoft Copilot preferred). Facilitation: Proven ability to deliver engaging virtual instructor-led training (VILT) via Zoom. Communication: Exceptional ability to translate complex or technical subjects into clear, engaging content for non-technical audiences. Visual Design: A keen eye for layout, color, and brand alignment using tools like Adobe Creative Suite or Canva. Bonus Skills Specialized Knowledge: Prior experience creating courses for AI, Cybersecurity, or Microsoft Productivity Suite. Agile Environments: Experience working within an agile development framework. Project Management: Project management experience.
