About the role: Oscar Medical Group runs a Virtual Health Assessment (VHA) program that outreaches and virtually engages Oscar Health Insurance members in an evaluation and management visit. You may also be cross-trained to help support teams across Oscar Medical Group, including Virtual Urgent Care. You will report into the Director, Virtual Health Assessment. Hours: We offer full-time 4-day (10-hour) schedules, with day shifts running from 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Specific shift choices and lunch breaks will be selected during the application process. Work Location: This is a remote position, open to candidates who reside in: Arizona; Arkansas; California; Colorado; District of Columbia; Florida; Georgia; Illinois; Massachusetts; Michigan; Nevada; New Hampshire; New Jersey; New York; North Carolina; Ohio; Pennsylvania; Texas; or Virginia. While your daily work will be completed from your home office, occasional travel may be required for team meetings and company events. Pay Transparency: The base pay for this role is: $116,400 - $145,500 per year. You are also eligible for employee benefits, annual vacation grant of up to 18 days per year and annual performance bonuses.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality care for patients in a virtual setting
- Use prescriptive authority as part of a collaborative practice agreement, consulting and partnering with Physicians on the care team for comprehensive care, particularly with complex patients
- Follow up on labs, imaging, and closed loop communication with patients and other providers
- Use tooling to allow virtual "exams" including remote home monitoring equipment, remote physical exam, remote point of care diagnostics
- Participate in collaborative care model with multiple care team members including registered nurses, medical assistants, PCPs, behavioral health clinicians, and clinical supervisor where applicable
- Participate in required meetings to support patient care including huddles, case conferencing and regular service line All Hands
- Provide feedback to support improvement in operational workflows and product features
- Compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
- Other duties as assigned Requirements:
- DNP, FNP, ENP, or PA from accredited program
- Board Certification (NCCPA or AANP or ANCC)
- 3+ years experience in outpatient Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Primary Care
- 2+ years of experience delivering virtual care
- Licensed in a minimum of 2 core Oscar States:
- Must have GA License
- Preferred: TX, FL or OH Licenses
- Demonstrated fluency in written and spoken Spanish Bonus Points:
- Compact RN license (if an APRN)
