Staff Software Engineer

Description: Lead architecture and delivery for Axios’ core products across multiple teams using strong product-engineering and AI-native practices. Remain hands-on while driving multi-quarter initiatives, improving technical coherence, and using agentic practices to accelerate delivery. Requirements: 7+ years in professional software development with experience leading complex initiatives across multiple teams or systems. Hands-on experience with AI-native development tools and strong expertise in frontend (JavaScript/TypeScript, React) and backend (Go, Python) development.
