Software Compliance Engineer (Contractor)

Description: Serve as a key technical advisor on compliance for product and engineering development in a global automotive company. Collaborate with legal and engineering teams to identify compliance risks and monitor regulatory changes. Focus on emerging regulatory landscapes for automotive technologies. Contractor position for six months with potential for extension; hybrid work model available. Requirements: Minimum 7 years of experience in the tech industry, focusing on software compliance. Undergraduate degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering; Master’s preferred. Strong communication skills to convey technical concepts to legal teams and vice versa. Ability to manage projects across multiple stakeholders (Legal, Engineering, HR, etc.). Proficiency in Microsoft 365, Jira, and similar tools. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
