Job Description The Area Environmental Specialist will help drive environmental excellence across multiple manufacturing facilities. In this highly visible role, you’ll partner with plant leadership teams to ensure environmental compliance, reduce risk, advance sustainability initiatives, and support continuous improvement efforts. The Area Environmental Specialist wil: Partner with plant leaders to ensure compliance with environmental permits, regulations, and company standards. Provide technical support for air, water, wastewater, stormwater, waste management, and sustainability programs. Conduct environmental audits, assessments, and compliance reviews across multiple facilities. Identify compliance risks, develop corrective actions, and help drive environmental improvement plans. Support regulatory inspections, environmental reporting, and agency interactions. Track environmental performance metrics and sustainability initiatives. Coach and train facility leadership on environmental best practices and compliance requirements. Share best practices and help strengthen environmental management systems across the organization.
