Member of Technical Staff (Search Core, Indexing & Data Pipeline Stream)

Description: Join Perplexity as an Expert Systems Engineer in the Search Core team focusing on indexing and data processing. Drive architecture, design, and implementation of foundational components for next-generation search products. Requirements: 3+ years of experience in systems programming (Rust, C++, C, or similar). Ownership of full project lifecycle, from development to production scaling. Knowledge of Python or other scripting languages. Familiarity with data processing systems (YT/Kafka/Hadoop). Strong algorithms and data structures knowledge. Deep understanding of multithreading and system-level optimization. Experience with high-load, distributed services and Linux internals.
