Opportunity CVAUSA is seeking a Sr Director of Value Based Care Clinical Operations to join our Novocardia Division. This role focuses on managing clinical teams for partnerships in arrangements that include total cost of care, sub-capitation cardiology models, and bundled payment agreements. This is an externally facing role focused on fostering strong relationships with partners, facilitating strategic alignment, and ensuring operational success. Reporting directly to the Division President, the Sr Director of Clinical Operations leads the VBC clinical care model and workforce, establishes reliable clinical operating processes, and ensures clinical performance is aligned with contractual and quality requirements. This role The role contributes clinical and operational leadership to Joint Operating Committees and partner discussions, in partnership with the accountable Market/Partner leader. Job Responsibilities
- Relationship Management:
- Serve as the clinical operations point of contact for external partners in value-based care arrangements.
- Design and manage escalation and collaboration processes between Operators and external partners.
- Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with key stakeholders, including health system leaders, payers, and provider groups in collaboration with market leadership.
- Understand strategic partner needs and priorities, identifying opportunities for innovation and collaboration.
- Operational Oversight:
- Direct oversight of the clinical supervisors and overall program operations Responsible for development, execution and performance oversight of all clinical-operating components of value-based care initiatives.
- Own the clinical operations portion of JOC materials, including care-model performance, clinical KPIs, staffing/capacity considerations, operational barriers, corrective actions, and clinical readiness commitments in collaboration with Medical Economics, Data & Analytics, Operations, and Leadership team
- Responsible for contract performance, identifying risks and opportunities for improvement in collaboration with internal teams. Collaborate with Data & Analytics around contract reporting; collaborate with Operations around metric outlier management.
- Responsible for clinical team KPIs and success metrics. This leader will direct the clinicians, policies, procedures and execution of the clinical model.
