Background CLEAR Global is a US non-profit organization supporting people to get information and be heard, whatever language they speak. We seek to build real partnerships with organizations that understand the importance of good communication in the right language and format. Our partnership program has been developed to provide NGOs and UN agencies with access to the TWB Platform and the TWB Community of over 200,000 linguists via a comprehensive range of language services. Some partner organizations sign a 12-month partnership agreement that provides access to the services. Others reach out to us for one-off services. The level of service and the cost is tied to the level of internal effort required to manage the partnership. Increasingly we also provide professional services for standalone projects, or as part of a partnership agreement. The role The MIIS Partnership Development Intern at CLEAR Global supports the Partnership Sales team with research, outreach, and administrative tasks to strengthen relationships with NGOs and UN agencies. This internship offers hands-on experience in partnership development, fundraising, and CRM management within an international non-profit organization. The role is ideal for those passionate about communication, languages, and global humanitarian work. Responsibilities Fundraising
- Research new prospective partners which might benefit from our support
- Support collateral, strategy, and implementation of our partnership program for CLEAR Global
- Support relations/communications Administration support:
- Regular data entry into HubSpot
- Support with keeping partners’ account info, as well as outreach records up to date (entering/updating data)
- Monitor partnership requests coming in from different channels
- Support Partner onboarding process - drafting agreements, creating invoices, and sending out outreach communications.
- Support with creating reports These roles and responsibilities are approximate and may change over time. Qualifications
- Current graduate student at the Middlebury Institute of International Studies (MIIS)
- Excellent command of English, both oral and written. Knowledge of or interest in other languages is an advantage;
- Previous experience working with non-profit organizations and particularly in the fundraising arena would be a real advantage;
- Familiarity with data entry tools, CRM and cloud computing platforms would be a plus.
- Experience carrying out desktop research, using a range of methods and sources of data
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Must have access to a stable internet connection and a computer. Requirements The right person is an energetic team player who agrees with CLEAR Global’s basic beliefs and values and can work remotely while interacting regularly with the international team.
