The Labor and Employee Relations Specialist will support the delivery of labor and employee relations activities across Europe, working in partnership with HR teams and under the guidance of experienced LER professionals. This position reports to the Danaher Corporate HR Labor & Employee Relations Europe team and will be located in UK and fully remote. In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Supporting the management of routine and moderately employee relations matters in partnership with OpCo HR teams, including disciplinary, grievance, performance management, absence, and workplace concerns.
- Assisting Senior LER Leads and Specialists with complex employee relations cases, investigations, restructures, collective matters, and organizational change initiatives.
- Providing guidance to HR Business Partners and HR Generalists on standard ER processes, policies, and best practices, escalating higher risk matters where appropriate.
- Conducting case reviews, documentation assessments, fact-finding exercises, and investigation support activities.
- Supporting the collection, analysis, and reporting of Labor & Employee Relations operational metrics, trends, and insights to help identify risks, opportunities, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Developing dashboards, reports, and presentations to communicate ER trends, case volumes, themes, root causes, and outcomes across the region.
- Assisting with the implementation of LER projects and strategic initiatives, including policy deployment, process improvements, training, and change management activities.
- The essential requirements of the job include:
- 2-5 years of experience in Human Resources, Employee Relations, Labor Relations, Employment Law, or a related discipline.
- Foundational understanding of employment law and employee relations practices, ideally within the UK and/or Europe.
