Senior Solution Architect (Application)

Description: Own the end-to-end technical design of applications, including services, APIs, integrations, and system communication. Define and guide application architecture using Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, microservices, Docker, and Kubernetes. Design APIs and integrations across multiple systems. Guide engineering teams on architectural and technical design decisions. Review implemented solutions to ensure alignment with the defined architecture. Maintain clear and practical architecture documentation for new engineers. Design and support event-driven architectures using Kafka. Work with self-managed infrastructure rather than managed cloud services. Contribute with a strong hands-on background in both backend and frontend development. Apply solution/application architecture experience within a product-company environment. Requirements: Proven experience owning solution or application architecture, beyond senior-level development responsibilities. Strong hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot. Strong knowledge of REST API design and microservices architecture. Experience designing integrations and communication between multiple systems. Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes. Experience with event-driven architecture and Kafka. Strong backend and frontend technical background. Experience working with self-managed infrastructure rather than relying primarily on managed cloud services. Ability to document architecture clearly and practically for engineering teams. Experience working in a product company, rather than project delivery only. Strong ability to guide engineering teams and make architectural design decisions.
