Senior Backend Engineer

Description: High-impact individual contributor role on the backend engineering team for an AI-native platform. Design and build intelligent systems for observability, architecture modeling, and AI-driven recommendations. Requirements: 4+ years of backend engineering experience in high-growth startups or tech companies. Proven experience in designing scalable, distributed systems and microservices architectures. Expertise in Go or Python with a focus on clean, maintainable code. Experience with data pipelines, observability systems, and monitoring infrastructure. Hands-on experience with DevOps tooling and cloud-native technologies. Familiarity with LLM-based systems and AI workflows. Track record of building systems from inception in startup environments. Skills in performance tuning, debugging, and technical architecture design. Experience with fault-tolerant workflow design in mission-critical services. Strong computer science fundamentals; graduate-level education is a plus. Benefits: Base salary: $160,000 to $200,000 USD annually, plus equity. Fully remote work environment.
