#106 - Backend Software Engineer - Java/Kotlin, AWS & GraphQL

Description: Seeking a backend-focused software engineer to design, build, maintain, and operate scalable cloud-native systems. Responsibilities include platform maintenance, compliance, cost efficiency, observability, experiment cleanup, and operational tooling using Java/Kotlin, Spring Boot, AWS, MongoDB Atlas, Aurora MySQL, and GraphQL. Requirements: 3-5 years of professional backend software development experience. Proficiency in Java and/or Kotlin, and experience with Spring Boot. Experience with MongoDB Atlas and Aurora MySQL on AWS. Experience building cloud-native distributed systems and GraphQL APIs using Netflix DGS. Excellent English communication and collaboration skills; enterprise experience preferred. Benefits: Remote contract engagement at 40 hours per week.
