Staff Software Engineer (Remote)

Description: Seeking a Staff Software Engineer for Rula’s Patient Onboarding team to enhance patient experience from initial interaction to care initiation. Role involves hands-on technical leadership, coding, and guiding engineers through complex initiatives and modern AI-enabled practices. Requirements: 8+ years of software engineering experience, including Staff-level scope and leading complex projects. Strong full-stack experience with production web applications, modern frontend frameworks, backend APIs, and distributed systems. Proven track record in leading technically complex projects from inception to production support. Experience with high-impact user journeys like onboarding, registration, and payments. Ability to influence technical direction and communicate effectively across teams. Hands-on experience with AI-assisted software development tools.
