Senior Staff Engineer & AI Innovation Lead (Elixir, Ruby, Flutter)

Description: SmartLogic is hiring a Senior Staff Engineer & AI Innovation Lead to oversee the engineering organization while being hands-on in client projects. The role involves setting technical standards, driving AI-enabled development practices, and coaching the engineering team. This position is fully remote within the United States and reports to the COO. Requirements: 8+ years of experience in modern software development practices and technologies, with demonstrated technical leadership. 7+ years of experience with Ruby on Rails, Elixir, and Phoenix; experience with Flutter and/or React Native preferred. Advanced experience with AI-assisted development tools in production environments. Experience in consultancy settings and with DevOps practices including CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code. Strong organizational skills and ability to set technical standards for other engineers. Benefits: Base compensation range of $150k to $187k per year, with 50-60% billable utilization expected.
